We’re approaching the end of the first quarter, which means that warmer weather is getting closer, but so are tax filing deadlines

Fortunately, a little preparation (well, a lot!) has gone a long way to enhance the systems we have in place, so we can further streamline the filing process for you.

That said, we greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation over the past several weeks as we implemented software and system upgrades, which required you to confirm and update your personal contact information.

And, now that our information technology upgrade is complete, we’re excited to be providing you with even more efficient organizational tools and secure information sharing options.

As you utilize your SmartVault portal to securely upload information for annual and/or quarterly taxes, please remember that a wealth of resources*, including a link for scheduling a virtual meeting with us, and tools, like tax organizers, are also available on our website.

*Please see below for quick access links.

Again, thank you for trusting in and partnering with us for your personal and professional financial needs. As always, if you have any questions, please contact Laura Hunter at taxadmin@gsm.biz.

Warmly, The GSM Advisory Group

Together, We Can Slam Social Security Scams!

March 7th is National Slam the Scam Day–the annual day commemorated by the Social Security Administration (SSA) for education and action to stop the spread of social security scams.

To learn more about scams and to protect yourself and others, review the SSA’s Scam Alert Fact Sheet. And remember to report Social Security-related scams to the Social Security Office of the Inspector General (OIG).

Commit to a deadline. Goals without dates are dreams. Having a deadline; however, will allow you to create a schedule by which to work on, and complete, your action items.
